Vanity Fair Social Club: AND THE OSCAR GOES TO!

Hey loves!

Soooo your girl got to do something pretty cool this past week. Yep! I am super excited to share with you all the fantastic pre-Oscars week that I had! I got an awesome opportunity to be apart of the Vanity Fair Social Club and I am here to invite you all into one of my best blogger experiences to date!

This year The Vanity Fair Social Club teamed up with Platform LA in Culver City, California to provide a CHIC, creative space for bloggers, influencers, content creators, and online journalists. It was like our very own personal Bloggers Headquarters for the week to listen to panelists, create dope content, eat and well SOCIALIZE! But not only with each other! Hence the hashtag #VFSC! The hashtag was kind of like our tool to utilize during the week to engage with brands sponsoring the event and bringing our audiences and social network friends along with us during our experience leading up to the Oscars!
Everyday we had to sign in and they would give us our itineraries for the day, or what VFSC called Daily Chatter. It outlined the programming lineup for each day. We’d get there, socialize for a bit, listen to the days panelist, EAT, socialize more, listen more, eat some more, get a little taste of that Stella Artois…..

I think you guys get the point!

In between all of this we had the opportunity to go to what they called their “Social Store” which is when they would give us some fantastic goodies in exchange for tweets, hashtags, and instagram posts! Brands utilizing blogger influence. Working together. As one. In harmony! LOL! I’m here for it! The day also included beauty services from YSL Beaute Makeup or L’Oreal Paris and a Happy Hour sponsored by Stella Artois! I had an amazing time especially meeting and networking with so many other bloggers and content creators! Check out how the days went!

iFilm: A Conversation with the director and Star of Tangerine

*edit* Thanks Brandon for letting me know Tangerine was on NetFLix! I watched it and loooooved it! Being an LA girl it was cool spotting some familiar locations throughout the movie … Some a little toooooo familiar! But Mya and her costars did wonderful!
