On a mission to not only boost Black-owned establishments in my neck of the woods but also to broaden my culinary horizons, I stumbled upon Giti Thai. Nestled in the heart of Windsor Hills, Los Angeles, this spot became the destination for a recent girls’ night with my homegirl, Cheyanne. We popped by on what appeared to be a chill evening. The restaurant itself isn’t massive, and it seemed we’d picked a mellow night since the dine-in crowd was sparse. But best believe the takeout orders were getting picked up!
I had only tried a few Thai dishes before (Pad Thai, I see you), so I was excited to venture out. I almost defaulted back to the Pad Thai, but the Green Curry was calling my name and I’m glad I answered. That dish was on point! Every plate we ordered was a hit. We kicked off with some drinks, shared an order of Giti Wings (a must-try), and Cheyanne went for the Pad Thai (can confirm, it’s delicious). I’m already itching to return and sample another dish, but let’s be real, I’ll probably order the Green Curry each and every time! If you’re ever in Windsor Hills, do yourself a favor and give Giti Thai a whirl.
