Hey loves! Long time, no post! I promise I have good reason! Today’s post is brought to you courtesy of Influenster and The Estée Edit! I received The Estée Edit voxbox and I’ll tell you there are some goodies in this box! So here’s to all my beauty junkies! Check out what I got in The Estée Edit voxbox and how I felt about each one!
Pore Vanishing Stick
This does pretty much what it says it’s going to do. Makes pores vanish! I use it on my face before I applied my foundation. Since it’s a stick application is pretty simple. It’s feels similar to how Smashbox’s foundation primer feels when you put it on. A nice smooth somewhat powdery feel. I really like this product!
This product is kind of a 2 in 1! It’s an illuminating lotion and highlight! These days I’m opting for something lighter than a foundation but also gives me a natural glow and the Beam Team does just that. You can also mix it in your foundation which I do sometimes. The color I received was just right especially since I had gotten an AWESOME Vegas tan! LOL! When you flip the cap there is the highlight that you dab on you finger and apply to the parts of your face you want to highlight. The color is basically a richer version of the lotion.
Okay you all, I’m not going to lie. At first…. I DIDN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THIS! Apparently it’s a multipurpose cream. You can wear it by itself, highlight, strobe, blush or shade (depending on the colors you get.) I was a bit leery because I felt it was too light so this would definitely have to be a highlight for me. It doesn’t apply on as smoothly as I’d like it too. I guess I ca attribute that to how thick the cream is. But I’m definitely giving it another go. Just some other way.
This lippie feels great! It’s a hybrid of lipstick and lip balm. It’s buildable so you can go as light or as dark as you would like. Now I don’t usually go for dark lippies so this one is new for me. It’s not that long lasting so reapplication is necessary. And I’m not exactly sure why it’s named Nude Scene but I guess Estee has their reasons. I’d personally would have liked one of the more truer nudes. I definitely will be hitting up Sephora for it because I’ve got my little eye on Pale Peach Nude!
I’ll continue playing around with The Estée Edit products because I do see the potential! And I will buy the colors that I see more fit for myself (the nude lip and a deeper Flash Illuminator)
Here I just really wanted to highlight the lippie! lol!
