Hey everybody! We got ourselves a new foundation review thanks to our good friends at Influenster! Out latest voxbox is brought to you by Origins! We got the Origins Pretty in Bloom voxbox with a SPF 20 long wear foundation!
Not only does it contain the SPF that we need but it’s also flower infused with 12 flowers, which is apparent from the scent. It smells so pretty! Like roses! The do have a range of 30 shades grouped in shades of Rosy for those with cool undertones, Bouquet for those with neutral undertones, and Marigold for those with warm undertones. I was sent the shade 330 which is a light medium neutral.
And as pale as I am right now (thanks winter!) I didn’t think the color 330 would match well but it turned out to be perfect! It claims to have 24 hour long wear but you all already know that I don’t wear makeup for 24 hours!
A small note that I did get from beauty youtuber Taylor Anise is that since it does contain flowers, PLEASE exercise caution when using this foundation if you know you have allergies! It just occurred to me that my sinuses started acting up when I finished my makeup. I am going to give it another try to see if I have the same reaction. Hopefully not because I really liked the finished look so we shall see!
The price is a bit on the higher side. At $38 you get 1 fl oz worth of product. If you’re like myself and prefer lighter to medium coverage then a little goes a long way! It’s a nice foundation that I do recommend!
